Quality Assurance Engineer - Performance Testing

ELITS is now looking for a QA Engineer (AI) Part time for our operations in Montreal .

As a QA Engineer on our AI team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and quality of deployed models and data pipelines. You will define and implement testing strategies and validation processes that help the team deliver robust and trustworthy AI solutions for our business and clients.
Design, execute, and maintain test plans for machine learning models, data pipelines, and AI-powered applications.

• Build and maintain automated test suites and pipelines to enable continuous testing in the AI stack.
• Collaborate closely with Data Scientists, Engineers, and Project Coordinators on test requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Analyze and report model and system performance, documenting defects and recommending corrective actions.
• Ensure reproducibility and traceability of all test cases and validation processes.
• Contribute to best practices and process improvement for AI QA and validation across the organization.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

• 2+ years of experience in QA for software, data, or AI systems.
• Strong understanding of ML/AI testing methodologies and best practices.
• Proficient in Python and automated testing frameworks (e.g., Experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and test management tools.
• Able to document, communicate, and troubleshoot defects with engineering and data science teams.
• Knowledge of data integrity, system validation, and test automation strategies in an AI context.

Experience validating ML models in production.

• Prior work with big data platforms or analytics testing.
• Familiarity with fairness, bias, and explainability tests in machine learning.
