Part Time Evening Housekeeper

Our family in Thornhill is looking for an experienced housekeeper to help keep our home clean and organized. This is a part-time, live-out position with a preferred start date of 05.10.2026. We are looking for someone who can work twice a week, with each visit lasting approximately 4-6 hours, for less than 20 hours per week.

The main responsibilities for this housekeeper role include general cleaning of the home and immediate external areas, vacuuming, mopping, kitchen cleaning, washing dishes, cleaning the inside and outside of the fridge, cupboards, oven, dishwasher, pantry, counters, and floors. Duties also include laundry, washing and drying clothing and household items, bed making, changing linens, light pet care and cleaning up after pets, and caring for household and garden plants. We have a dog and a cat, so being comfortable around pets is important.

This position does not require cooking or running errands, and a driver’s license is not required.

We are hoping to find someone with at least 3 years of experience. References from previous employer(s) would be greatly appreciated, and a police check is required.

We are flexible with scheduling and can consider availability in the morning, middle of the day, or evening on any day of the week.
