Our client is currently seeking a committed and professional Food Service Aide to join their hardworking team. This position plays a crucial role in maintaining a professional and welcoming work environment in the kitchen. Assist in the preparation of all food items following set recipes.
Ensure leftover food is stored and labeled properly following kitchen policies and procedures.
Follow proper food handling in accordance with the company protocol.
Maintain kitchen equipment, ensuring safe use of all equipment and materials.
Clean and properly sanitize dinnerware, equipment, and kitchen area thoroughly.
Over one year of experience with food preparation or food related services is required.
Strong acumen to adhere to all food safety polices and procedures.
Ability to work on your feet for extended periods and perform some light physical labor, such as lifting and carrying kitchen supplies.
Experience with proper knife handling, and the knowledge of temperature control of food productions is an asset.
Positive attitude with the ability to communication clearly with staff and management.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
