Title: Intermodal Dispatcher
Transportation
We are looking for an intermodal dispatcher to join our team.
The candidate will be responsible for coordinating combined transport operations between CN/CP rail terminals, the Port of Montreal, and our customers. This key role ensures operational fluidity, adherence to delivery deadlines, and customer satisfaction.
Monday to Friday from 10:00 a.m. Competitive salary based on experience
Continuous training and skill development
Responsible for the pickup and delivery of freight at customer locations
Planning and execution of online container movements
Tracking and tracing intermodal units via CP and CN rail portals
Resolving and responding accordingly to calls from customers as well as the customer service group
Excellent knowledge of various transportation softwares
- Experience dealing with Montreal port
- Good knowledge of the territory (asset)
- Degree in transportation and logistics / supply chain (asset)
- Strong customer service and negotiation skills
