Catering Worker Location Calgary, AB : This position can support either front of house (FOH), or back of house (BOH) duties. When supporting FOH this position provides our guests with efficient, friendly and professional food and beverage service while following all policies and procedures of SAIT. When supporting BOH this position provides cleaning, food prep and basic cooking to our outlets, while following all policies and procedures of SAIT. The Role Serving/Bartending Duties Knowledge of menu items and preparation methods Processing all guest orders in the Micros Point of Sale (POS) Execute delivery of all food and beverage in an efficient and professional manner Provide guests with exceptional customer service Process of all customer bills and payments Complete end of day cashout procedures, ensuring accuracy of deposit Maintain a high level of safety and sanitation standards Cleaning of tables/counters Monitor and order packaging supply inventory Stocking of beverage coolers, coffee station/take out supplies, and retail Assist with the opening and closing duties of the outlet Setup and teardown of tables, chairs, décor and AV Assist with replenishing buffet items and all necessary serving utensils Assume related duties as required Stewarding / Prep Cook Duties Cleaning of kitchen equipment, hand washing of dishes, operating dishwasher and overall maintaining a high level of safety and sanitation standards Food preparation Deep cleaning of all equipment Knowledge of menu items and preparation methods Packaging of prepared foods, labeling & pricing Assist with the opening and closing duties of the outlet Assume related duties as required Qualifications Education: High School Diploma Experience: Previous working experience Please note that only people selected will be contacted during the period the posting is live for.
