Blue Sky Animal Hospital has proudly served North Bay and the surrounding area for over 20 years. We're a dedicated, compassionate, and fun-loving team that values collaboration and community — and we’re looking to welcome a full-time (4-5 days per week) Veterinarian (DVM) to our growing hospital community.
You’ll join a supportive, knowledgeable team that values high-quality medicine, mutual respect, and a shared passion for animals. Our hospital already has an experienced DVM and 3 RVTs that offer compassionate and high quality veterinary care.
Enjoy a wide range of outdoor activities like hiking, skiing, snowmobiling, and lakefront adventures, all year round. The city also boasts a dynamic cultural scene with diverse restaurants, music and food festivals, the Capitol Centre performing arts theatre, and our OHL team, the North Bay Battalion. Our ideal Veterinarian (DVM) will have 3–7 years of experience and demonstrate a high standard of medical expertise, including proficiency in surgical and dental procedures. They will be confident in making independent decisions, managing complex cases, and responding to emergencies. Primarily responsible for clinical care, the DVM will leverage their medical knowledge, teamwork, and emotional intelligence to deliver exceptional veterinary medicine and leadership for the team.
We will only consider candidates who hold or are eligible to hold a full General Veterinary License in Ontario at the time of their application.
