McCain Foods (Canada) is seeking a Temporary (6 month term) General Operator to join our Fry Plant facility in Grand Falls NB. Please note this position is physically demanding and requires working 12-hour rotating shifts on a 4-on 4-off basis (4 on 2 days 2 nights). Applicants should be comfortable working amid substantial sensory input and able to maintain focus and productivity during extended shifts. Material handling of 19 kg boxes and bags
Responsible for following change over policy and requirements
Must follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Critical Control Points (CCPs)
Must have the ability to work a rotating shift schedule including nights weekends and holidays
Basic computer skills would be an asset
Ability to work well with plant supervision and production employees
Lift truck operator skills are an asset to replace the packaging and cold storage lift truck operator. Must be willing to learn and operate a Lift Truck as needed.
Must be self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.

Compensation Package :$ -$ Starting at 22.24 CAD hourly Hourly Pay Differential for applicable shifts
Hiring compensation will be determined based on experience skill set education and training and other organizational needs.
