The Healthcare Professional is responsible for initiation of prescribed respiratory therapy in the Medigas office, education, documentation, and follow-up to ensure equipment performance and client compliance.
Initiating and optimizing CPAP/Bipap Therapy based on Physician Prescriptions.
Educating patient and care givers about Obstructive Sleep Apnea and its effects on health.
Generating sleep therapy reports and sending to Physician for approval
In office consultations with sleep and oxygen clients
Build and maintain high quality client and referral relationships
Support in the training and development of new employees as needed
Registered Respiratory Therapist or a Registered Nurse with current registration
RPN/LPN with current registration
Homecare and sales experience an asset
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Must possess commitment to client and personal safety
Proof of full vaccination against the COVID-19 virus is required for this role. Fully vaccinated means having received the full series of a COVID-19 vaccine or combination of COVID-19 vaccines approved by the World Health Organization (WHO) (e.g. two doses of a two-dose vaccine series, or one dose of a single-dose vaccine series), and having received the final dose of the COVID-19 vaccine at least 14 days prior
