Reporting to the Senior Manager, Capital Governance, the advisor is responsible for the financial monitoring, oversight, and reporting of capital projects, as well as for tracking capital budgets across the entire corporation.

Manager of Financial Control for Capital Projects: Post journal entries at month-end. Manager of Financial Control for the Corporation’s Various Capital Budget Allocations: Participate in determining the capital funds required for the five-year plan and in monitoring progress across the various divisions.
Participate in the quarterly capital project prioritization process with the Senior Capital Governance Manager. Ensure the improvement of tools and systems (Oracle Costing) for the financial monitoring of projects: Become the “power user,” participate in improvement projects, and maintain the system.
Actively participate in documenting various processes and guidelines in collaboration with the corporate project office team and ensure compliance with the organization’s coding policies.

Holds a bachelor’s degree in business or administration.
At least 5 years of experience in budget monitoring and financial analysis at a medium- to large-sized company. CPA or MBA designation.
Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint. Knowledge of Power Query and Power Pivot is considered an asset. Knowledge of EBS Project Costing.

Strong skills in financial analysis, planning, and budgeting;

• Fluency in both French and English is required both written and verbal;
• Ability to adapt to a changing environment and a commitment to the continuous improvement of processes and work methods;
• Customer-oriented.
