Maintenance Journeyman- Electrician

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Journeyman Electrician to join our team.

You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical wiring, systems, and equipment. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of electrical codes, safety practices, and troubleshooting techniques.

In addition to electrical system installation and maintenance, the successful candidate will demonstrate proficiency in equipment repair and replacement, encompassing a range of HVAC systems such as furnaces, boilers, and air conditioners. Experience with controls, including but not limited to Tekmar and Thermostats, is highly desirable. This aspect of the role requires meticulous attention to detail and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues effectively.

Responsibilities:

Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in accordance with local, state, and national electrical codes

Perform routine maintenance on electrical wiring and systems

Troubleshoot electrical issues and develop solutions to resolve problems

Read and interpret electrical blueprints and technical diagrams

Collaborate with construction teams and other professionals to ensure electrical systems are installed properly

Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines at all times

Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used

Requirements:

Journeyman Electrician license/certification required

Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Journeyman Electrician

Thorough knowledge of electrical codes and regulations

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
