Senior FullStack Developer

The access team at Solink is focused on expanding the integration of access control systems with Solink’s current Alarm product and CloudVMS capabilities to enhance the physical security Solink brings it’s customers, as well as provide a truly seamless and pleasant experience in access control.

As a Senior FullStack Developer at Solink, you will spend your days improving security AND user experience of physical security through deeper integration with other internal and third party systems, leveraging Solink’s Sidekick AI platform, and close collaboration with a world class team of engineers, designers, and architects. You have a solid understanding of software development, supported by a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technology field.

You have 5+ years of experience in software development.

You have hands-on experience with AWS and cloud-based architectures, including Lambda, EC2, AWS CLI, and the management console.

You have proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript.

You are comfortable working with Jira for task management and following an agile workflow.

Bonus If…

You have experience with React and front-end development.

You have experience in DevOps and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) (e.g., CloudFormation, AWS CDK, Terraform, Serverless Framework).

You have experience with SQL/NoSQL databases (ideally Elasticsearch or DynamoDB).

You have knowledge of information security and cybersecurity best practices.

You have proficiency in multiple programming languages.

Candidates must undergo a criminal records check upon hire;

Be a Canadian Citizen (dual citizens included), or eligible to work in Canada;

Be willing to comply with Solink’s own security policies and standards

Build and extend product business logic to support all of Solink’s products growing to be AI-native (how do we say this)

Work on multiple components of the product, including AWS infrastructure, in collaboration with architects and R&D teams.

Assist product management and customer support teams by providing explanations and resolutions to reported issues.

Research and develop new technologies to enhance existing software applications.
