QC Laboratory Chemist

Laboratory Operations & Instrument Maintenance
Perform basic laboratory procedures such as prepare samples reagents and calibrations.
Calibrate operate and maintain laboratory instruments troubleshooting as necessary.
Data Management & Quality Assurance
Compile verify and validate data records.
Ensure quality assurance standards and turnaround times are met following all SOPs and Quality Control guidelines.
Bachelors degree in Chemistry Biochemistry or technical diploma in a related field.

• Experience in water quality analysis microbiology and toxicology analysis an asset.
• Working knowledge of BOD CBOD hydrocarbons metal testing GC-MS Mass Spectrometry is an asset.
• 1-2 years of hands-on laboratory experience.
