Account Specialist, CVR - London, ON
The Account Specialist (AS), CVR is responsible for delivering value to customers and is accountable for driving sales growth based on a sound business plan and excellent execution. In addition, the AS will develop and implement customer-focused initiatives using an account planning approach to build Bayer’s leadership across their portfolio of brands. The individual is responsible for the promotion of the key Cardiovascular/Renal assets within their region.
The individual is responsible for ensuring full compliance with company procedure by promptly reporting within 24 hours all adverse events, product quality or technical complaints, and any other safety-related information.

Seek to understand and then address customer issues to add value and drive them up the adoption ladder.
Analyze business environment to develop, then execute territory and account specific business plans.
Identify and build relationships with key stakeholders in the territory (GPs, NPs, Specialists, and other HCPs) leveraging an omnichannel approach tailored to customer interests and preferences.
Map stakeholders within communities to identify decision makers and influencers.
Build strategic territory specific account plans, including levels of investment for maximal impact, incorporating input from sales trends and stakeholder needs.
Create value with customers, partner with stakeholders to implement solutions that improve patient outcomes.
Conduct learning events specific to the referral audience, to optimize patient care and grow awareness of our assets in evolving treatment guidelines.
Collaborate & connect within Bayer, by providing input on field insights and support cross-functional collaboration.
Adhere to all requirements and Code of Conduct as directed by Innovative Medicines Canada and Bayer policy guidelines.
Minimum 5 years pharmaceutical sales experience
Experience in cardiovascular/renal a strong asset
Strong key account management, project management, and critical thinking skills
Able to assess market, draw insights and make decisions accordingly, leveraging an entrepreneurial mindset
Excellent knowledge of the local healthcare systems, including provincial remuneration
Superior competencies in relationship building, networking, problem solving, impact and influence across stakeholders
Continually seeks feedback from peers to improve business outcomes and able to set and deliver against 90-day and long-term goals to achieve desired impact/outcome
Must be willing to travel throughout assigned territory and other areas as required and as business need evolves

This role also provides the opportunity to earn additional performance-based compensation. If performance-based compensation is earned, the total compensation package may provide an opportunity to earn a Total Direct Compensation ( TDC) range of $95,800.00 to $143,700.00 . This TDC would include base salary and may also include items like bonuses (short-term and long-term incentives) and sales incentives. The estimated TDC range estimates performance-based compensation earned at 100% of target; however actual amounts may fluctuate below or above the TDC range based on company and/or individual performance.
