Are you seeking an opportunity to work in a remote picturesque environments? We are seeking a Plumber for our various remote Canadian project locations!
MATRIX is looking for an experienced Journeyperson Plumber that is team oriented, adaptable, highly motivated, with acute attention for details. You will play a key role at our remote camps by supporting the team to complete construction of a these camps. This position will be working in various locations at our remote camps.
Perform plumbing and general maintenance to gas appliances and lines
Maintain plumbing systems, fixtures, drinking water treatment and distribution system
Practice and promote company environmental, health, safety, and operational policies and procedures
Demonstrate safety leadership within a team environment and promote environmental awareness in all work or task-related duties
Maintain a high standard of performance in your duties
Minimum of 2-3 years working in a construction field/camp position.
Certified Journeyman Plumber (Red Seal)
HVAC and/or Refrigeration experience or certification is a definite asset to the position
Solid verbal and written communication skills in English.
Ability to work a rotation schedule and a dynamic schedule.
Ability to maintain a high level of performance over a 10 - 12 hour shift.
Previous experience working in remote camp setting.
Proficient in all aspects of plumbing repair and replacement.
