Welder/Fabricator - Full Time

Pay: $25.00-$35.00/hour
Our well-established client in Woodstock is currently hiring both Junior Welders and Senior Welder/Fitters . Candidates with a minimum of 2 years of welding experience in a custom fabrication shop environment are encouraged to apply. Required Skills & Qualifications
Ability to work effectively in a team environment while also being self-motivated and independent
Strong blueprint reading skills from shop drawings and engineered drawings
Strong knowledge of fit-up procedures
Strong understanding of weld symbols and CWB welding procedures
Experience fitting small and large weldments using layout tools and fixtures
Ability to accurately read and use measuring instruments such as tape measures, squares, and levels
Ability to identify weld defects and non-conforming parts
Experience setting up and operating MIG welding equipment for steel, stainless steel, and aluminum
Experience with custom fabrication and adapting to customer-specific requirements
Preferred Skills & Assets
Saw cutting operation experience
Pipe bender operation experience
SMAW welding experience
Experience using cutting torches and handheld plasma equipment
Experience maintaining industrial equipment
Forklift operation experience
Overhead crane operation experience
Physical Requirements
~ Ability to perform some heavy lifting
