We are hiring a casual cook to prepare healthy, home-cooked meals from a children's menu. This position is on a call-in, casual basis as needed, with no guaranteed hours.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Assisting in creating a menu to meet licensing criteria required by the Ministry of Education, creating lists and shopping for all consumable and non-consumable items, prepping and serving with time constraints, and sanitary practices in all areas of the job. Other duties include dining room cleaning, dishes, ordering supplies, laundry, cleaning, working well within a diverse team with children with diverse needs. A good team player willing to go above and beyond the duties of a typical cook.
Must have Food Safe, CPR and First Aid or be willing to take immediately at your own time and cost. Must have a clean criminal record check with a vulnerable sector query that is less than 6 months old. MUST WORK WELL WITH CHILDREN.
