Material Handler - Warehousing/Shipping

Reports directly to the Warehouse Manager of Griffith Foods on an ongoing basis and communicates all relevant matters pertaining to Operations.
Carries out duties according to procedures and work instructions covering the tasks relating to the positions function as outlined in the departments quality manual in accordance with Griffith Management System requirements.
Performs duties as required within shipping/receiving and material handling.
Transfers material/finished goods from bagging and/or bakeries into inventory etc.
Keeps material and racks clean & tidy.
Keeps narrow aisle reach truck clean tidy & safe.
Follows material movement practices maintains extensive knowledge of storage movement and safe handling of goods.
Checks that all materials are correctly stored and transferred using the RF.
Narrow Aisle Reach Truck experience.
Maintains inventory counts and levels.
Communicates internally with other departments for the purpose of gathering distributing materials and maintaining inventory.
Adheres to all Security and Health & Safety policies.

High school diploma Required.
Knowledge of basic mathematical foundations Required.
Previous experience in a food manufacturing environment is considered an asset.
Microsoft DAX or other ERP knowledge is considered an asset.
Forklift license Required.
Must be able to operate either a Crown Narrow Aisle and/or Raymond Narrow Aisle Reach truck.
