Work setting
Barbershop or hairstyling salon/studio
Responsibilities:
Book appointments
Maintain and order supplies
Address customers' complaints or concerns
Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures
Schedule staff
Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures
to improve productivity and product quality
Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters
Plan and control budget and inventory
Manage contracts for advertising or marketing strategies
Organise day-to-day business operations
Establish or implement policies and procedures for staff
Balance cash and record sales
Answer clients' inquiries and provide information
Clean work area
Hire, train and supervise staff
Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations
