Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Shared work load between Metal Fabrication & Warehouse departments

Inspection, maintenance, and adhere to Health & Safety regulations

Move, Load and unload material

Maintain proper housekeeping of work area

Assume other related tasks at the request of the Department Manager, Supervisor or Team Lead

Skills, Education, and/or Experience The following are education and experience criteria used to evaluate the suitability of the Forklift Operator Profile or candidates for the position:

Ability to operator a forklift

Safe driving record

Recogonized organization training an asset. Mandatory In House training provided.

Must have good mechanical skills

Able to use computers proficiently

Possess a positive attitude

Able to be coached and must have a willingness to learn

Communicate clearly and effectively with others

Able to work proficiently in a team-oriented setting, as well as independently

Additional instructions from a Team Lead, and complete the work as described

Punctuality and good attendance are a must

Able to work overtime as needed

Job Conditions Physical Demands:

Light physical effort - able to lift up to 20lbs at times.

Sitting, lifting, squatting, pushing, or reaching for intermittent or extended periods.

Work Environment:

Factory, Warehouse, Distribution Center, Office.

May be exposed to loud, repetitive sounds from machinery or equipment.

May use chemicals or other in accordance with MSDS.

May operate machinery in close proximity or with objects exposed to eyes or face.
