Position: Senior UX Designer
Duration: 3 Months assignment (contract)
Client Location: Toronto ( Onsite : 7.25 hours/day between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday)
This position is provisionally Onsite , requiring 7.25 hours per calendar day between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM , Monday to Friday (excluding breaks). Akkodis is seeking an experienced Senior UX Designer to lead user‑centered design for high‑impact digital products and services. The successful consultant will design intuitive, accessible, and visually compelling end‑to‑end experiences across multiple platforms, while contributing to research, strategy, prototyping, and continuous improvement. This role requires strong design leadership, hands‑on UX/UI expertise, and the ability to collaborate with multi‑disciplinary teams in an Agile environment.
Design intuitive, user‑friendly, visually engaging interfaces that enhance end‑to‑end user experience.
Lead design execution from conceptual exploration through production, maintaining high UX standards.
Conduct user research (interviews, surveys, testing), synthesize findings, and transform insights into actionable design artifacts.
Create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, journey maps, design blueprints, and other UX deliverables.
Wireframes, mockups, prototypes, design systems, and UX/UI specifications.
User research plans, test scripts, findings, personas, journey maps, and service blueprints.
Design reports, presentations, concept explorations, and usability test summaries.
Updated design assets and recommendations based on analytics, user feedback, and testing.
Significant design experience improving user interaction for digital, user‑centric products, supported by measurable outcomes.
Experience conducting and synthesizing user research (interviews, usability tests, surveys).
Experience designing for web and mobile applications, integrating performance and accessibility needs.
Understanding of web development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript); coding experience is an asset.
Demonstrated ability to solve problems using design thinking and human‑centered design methods.
Previous experience working with the public‑sector organizations.
