Required:
Ability to commute: Camrose, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work Schedule: Monday to Friday; Possible Saturday shifts
Must Be: Flexible to work varied shifts, weekends, or on-call assignments as required
Shift: Must be able to work 10-hour shifts

Essential Job Functions
Perform multiple tasks within the pipe coating processing plant
Operate panels to ensure pipe coating process remains constant
Assist in the foam application process
Assist in maintenance of foam equipment, inspect foam coating
Assist in shutdowns and startups
Assist Forklift Operators in loading and offloading pipe
Perform pipe rack construction and maintenance
Assist in preparation for truck loading and offloading
Participate in safety/tool box meetings
Participate in on-the-job training and any additional training
Maintain proper housekeeping in assigned work area
Measuring pipe steel for spec
Gas cutting pipe to repair
Cutting pipe with an electric saw/grinder.
Repairing pipe end surfaces with an electric beveler
Completing paperwork to reflect repairs.
Installation of sleeves for coating repairs
Application of 2-part repair material and completing paperwork to reflect repairs
Some labour in the yard including rope cutting; pad building; rack building; general clean-up
Other duties as required

Qualifications:
Knowledge of the standard methods, materials, tools, equipment and procedures utilized with all coating types – a plus but not required
Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions which are applicable to the work – a plus but not required
Ability to work overtime
High School diploma or equivalent preferred
Must be able to pass pre-employment drug test

Physical Demands
Raise/lower or move objects horizontally.
Frequent wrist/hand motions.
Ability to respond quickly to sounds.
Must move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces.
Visual acuity required for accuracy and thoroughness of work.
Standing/walking for more than 90% of shift, including long distances.
Ability to work in extreme weather.

Work Environment:
Active industrial shop with exposure to dust, noise, varying temperatures, and heavy machinery.
Frequent use of PPE including gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection, and dust masks as required.
