Maintenance and Warehouse Assistant

Job Responsibility:
We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various warehouse duties, including order fulfillment, order picking, and shipping receiving. Experience with forklift operation and warehouse management systems is preferred.
Duties:
- Perform order picking and packing tasks efficiently- Assist in loading and unloading shipments- Operate forklifts- Utilize mechanical knowledge to fabricate and package items- Maintain inventory accuracy through proper documentation- Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment
Experience:
- 5 to 10 years of prior experience in a warehouse setting- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks- Familiarity with order fulfillment processes- Experience with shipping and receiving operations

Looking for an accomplished and experienced warehouse worker to assist the lead hand/ supervisor with the day to day tasks at hand. Candidate to offer input on overall strategies, planning and execution of all warehouse and logistics functions. Position includes: shipping and receiving, picking and packing, Inventory control and maintenance, logistics.
Minimum 5-10 years warehouse experience required.
Daily role includes: Shipping/Receiving, Inventory Management, Logistics, Organizing and structuring work flow with possibly some management duties.
Forklift license required
Computer experienced with logistics and warehousing software, excel and spreadsheets.
Communication, Customer service, Organization, leadership, coaching and managerial skills a plus.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Must be able to pass a background check
Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more
Responsibilities:
Operate forklift and operate all necessary equipment (e.g. Pallet Jack, Forklift, Material Handling Equipment)
Loading unloading containers and trucks using various hand and power tools
Interact with other personnel in the warehouse (e.g. Clerks, Warehouse Workers, Shipping & Receiving Associates)
Keep the warehouse organized, clean and safe (e.g. Stocking shelves, Checking in orders)
Report any problems or maintenance issues (e.g. broken down forklifts) to appropriate personnel (Warehouse Supervisor, Maintenance Supervisor, etc.)
Create records as required (e.g. purchase orders, bills of sale, deliveries, etc.)
Assist in any other tasks assigned by the appropriate personnel (i.e. front desk clerk, maintenance etc.)
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $20.00-$21.00 per hour
Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
