We bring deep technical knowledge, real-world experience, and a commitment to work that matters. RESPEC seeks an experienced Drilling Engineer to join our team in Saskatoon, SK; however remote, and other locations will be considered for the right candidate.
The primary responsibilities of the Drilling Engineer will be consulting of exploratory drilling, solution-mining, geothermal wells and disposal wells, complete the life cycle of projects including project management and execution of project tasks, financial accountability and budgeting, and must be willing to travel 10-20% of the time. RESPEC supports a diverse range of mining and energy projects spanning the globe, offering a qualified candidate exposure to a dynamic mix of drilling projects with diverse clients.
Bachelor of science degree in petroleum, geological, or mining engineering
Minimum of 5 years of drilling engineering experience
Strong technical background in well design and drilling program development and execution
Experience with completions engineering and design would be an asset
