Warehousing Worker - Full time/ Part time

Job Responsibility:
GREAT opportunity for a young energetic individual who wants to get their foot through the door at an entry level position and progress with the training offered to learn a new trade in closet installation.
Unique Storage and Organizers specializes in the design and install of custom closets and garage cabinetry.
We are looking for a full time warehouse/installer assistant. Must be a neat, punctual, reliable, people person that can work and communicate with customers and fellow installers. Criminal background check applies to all applicants. Warehouse/Carpentry/Trade experience is a plus, but we will train the right candidate. Must have a valid driver's license. The job will involve some warehouse time to receive shipments, load work van, and organize inventory. Some time will be on the road assisting the installers and learning how the install process works. The goal of this hire is to find the right candidate to train and advance to an installer position within the company over a period of time.
· This is a physically demanding, fast paced position which will involve some lifting of 50lbs, including climbing stairs. Experience with common hand and power tools is a bonus. Speed and accuracy is needed to complete installs in a timely manner and attention to detail to make the installs perfect is a MUST.
After a short period of training a successful applicant will be expected to be able to carry out the following tasks :
· Work on their own in warehouse to Check off and receive inventory, Pick materials for jobs, organize materials.
Operate hand tools such a drills, screwdrivers, levels.

• Operate table saw and miter saw
• Accurately measure and cut product to 1/16” accuracy
• Be able to effect minor adjustments and touch ups to the finished job to help make it look flawless
• Read install blue prints/ assembly plans
• Read parts lists and load work van accurately
• Receive shipments and check off product accurately
• Keep warehouse tidy and free of garbage
• Be able to problem solve and find install solutions when things go wrong
• Drive company vehicle
• Identify all components and materials in the install and assemble them

• Have a clean valid drivers license
• Pass a criminal background test
• Be personal and communicate effectively with customers
• Be of presentable appearance and hygiene
• Be punctual
• Have a keen eye and strive for perfection in their workmanship
• Be able to carry awkward sized product upstairs without damaging product or customers property
• Be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs up and down stairs
• Be driven to excel, learn and want to advance to an install position

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
