As an engineer reporting to the engineering manager for Lending you will help build lending products that aim to improve the financial lives of our customers. You will take on some of our most challenging technical problems scaling our novel lending product. We are at the start of high-growth phase and joining at this stage you will have a large impact on the cultural and technical foundation of Lending at Remitly.

Design and implement solutions for ambiguous and complex problems using full stack technologies ( ReactGraphQL Java/Kotlin) that operate at scale.
Design: Participate in the brainstorming technical design and grooming of the next generation of Lending with a data-driven and customer-centric viewpoint.
Focus on overall product quality and build.
Collaborate: You will work with product managers data scientists and other engineers to understand requirements and translate them into scalable high-quality software solutions.

Minimum of 6 years of relevant software development experience in a Full-stack capacity
Understanding of basic web development concepts such as RESTful APIs protocol and database management.
