The Faculty of Dentistry invites applications for a Research Associate (Limited Term) to support a diverse portfolio of research projects within the discipline of Dental Public Health, including clinical trials, population-based surveys, systematic and scoping reviews, and health services research. This position is full-time and grant-term. The position involves close collaboration with faculty investigators and interdisciplinary research teams and contributes to the generation of high-quality evidence to inform oral health policy, practice, and education.
The successful candidate will play a key role across all stages of the research process, including study design support, data collection and management, quantitative and qualitative analysis, literature synthesis, and preparation of manuscripts for peer-reviewed publication. This role is well suited to an individual with advanced training in dental public health research methodologies and a strong interest in applied, policy-relevant research.

Support the planning, implementation, and coordination of multiple research projects, including clinical trials, observational studies, surveys, and evidence syntheses
Assist with data collection activities, including participant recruitment, survey administration, and clinical or administrative data abstraction
Perform data cleaning, management, and statistical analyses using appropriate software (e.g., Interpret research findings in collaboration with faculty investigators
Support research ethics submissions, protocol amendments, and regulatory documentation
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, trainees, and research staff to ensure timely project deliverables
PhD in Dentistry, Epidemiology, Health Services Research, or a closely related field, with a Masters in Dental Public Health

• 5-years experience in conducting and supporting dental public health research, including clinical trials and population-based studies
• Strong quantitative research skills, including experience with statistical analysis and data management
• Experience with research ethics processes and regulatory requirements
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary research environment
