Occupational Therapist (permanent Full Time)

As an Occupational Therapist (OT)on our team you are responsible for developing programs that enable individuals to participate, to their fullest level, in activities that occupy their daily lives. Your client-base will consist of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), as well as individuals of all other ages and needs.
Salary: $80,000 - 102,000/ year + SIGNING BONUS
Full-time, permanent
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 11am - 7pm and Saturday, 9am - 4pm EST
Community and center-based. Travel is required in GTA

Complete assessments using tools such as standardized tests, criterion or curriculum referenced materials, or checklists
Consult to Behaviour Analysts who supervise Applied Behaviour Analysis Programs for Children with ASD and other needs
Work collaboratively with the family and other community professionals
Collect data and make evidenced-based decisions in treatment
Supervise students pursuing education in Occupational Therapy
Represent OT department in Monarch House by contributing to clinical policies and procedures and other centre-wide visions
At least 1 year experience working with children with ASD
Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapist (OT)
Experience and familiarity with assessment tools (standardized tests, etc.)
Member of college (CAOT) or CAOT eligible.
Comfortable with community work and working independently with support from a regional OT team
