Westinghouse's APX Engineering business is hiring for the Career Catalyst Program. You will rotate through multiple functional engineering areas in this Westinghouse organization, such as Civil, Electrical, Project Engineering, and Component Engineering with manufacturing plant assignment .

The intent of the Career Catalyst Program is to support our growing business, develop leaders, display aspects of being a corporate steward and identify future career interests.

You will report to the Director - Safety Analysis and work a hybrid schedule based in Kitchener, Ontario.

Through a series of rotations, learn and start to lead project work. To achieve this, you will contribute to planning, communication, and teamwork. For each rotation/group, develop an understanding of the strategic direction of the group and respective department; Lead engineering work tasks within established scope, budgetary and schedule requirements. Develop competencies related to the engineering functional area of focus for the rotation. This will gain exposure to the skillsets required for scopes of work as part of greater nuclear projects, including both operating plant and new plant development and deployment programs.

Identify areas of improvement and use data analysis to propose solutions to enhance the efficiency of each rotational group.

Bachelor's degree in civil, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (minimum); Engineering in Training certification before graduation; Travel or relocate based on the job rotations and future opportunities upon completion of the rotation program

Proficiency with analytical/calculation tools such as MathCad, Matlab, VBA and Python code languages

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be from $70,380 to $87,975 CAD per year.
