Procurement Manager will manage the procurement, repair, and overhaul of parts and services for Part Sales, Line Maintenance, and Heavy Maintenance. Lead a team of over 20 staff of Procurement Project Specialists and Lead Hands, ensuring cost-effective, timely, and compliant purchasing and repair operations.
Approve purchases and repair orders up to company delegated limits.
Provide guidance to Procurement Specialists and Lead Hands.
Participate in weekly Heavy Maintenance procurement meetings.
Lead procurement components of fleet upgrades, inventory projects, and Line Maintenance support.
Conduct vendor negotiations and performance reviews.
Identify cost-saving initiatives and process improvements.
Diploma or Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or an Aviation-related field is required; PMAC Certification in Purchasing Management is preferred.
Aviation or procurement-related certification is considered an asset; no federal or provincial licensing is mandatory.
A minimum of five years of experience in procurement or within an aviation supply chain environment is required.
Experience working in an aviation supply chain environment.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and initiatives simultaneously.
Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
