Language Requirement: English Essential and spoken French (B1.Salary: 29.0759 to 31.0379 per hour ((Subject to Employment Status may be paid at 8% in lieu of vacation and stat holidays as per CUPE collective agreement article 6.08 (a)))
The Administrative Assistant - Clinical is responsible for providing administrative support for a clinic, department or program.
High school graduation and an administrative support program of at least one-year duration plus two years of related experience OR five (5) years of recent experience (within the last 8 years) as a 1076, shall be considered as equivalent.
Demonstrated proficiency verified by testing in:
Data Entry 4000 KSPH
Typing 35 WPM (General)
Medical Terminology Spelling 75%
Medical Terminology Vocabulary 75%
Excel 75%
Transcription testing may be required
The Administrative Assistant - Clinical is responsible for:
Processing referrals, requests and other medical documents and forms
Transcribing information and producing or editing documents and reports
Maintaining databases and producing reports
Performing reception duties including responding to inquiries
Performing general clerical and office duties
