Duties:

• Offer tutorials on General Chemistry II (18:170) course and lab materials (including online assignments on LON-CAPA)
• Explain concepts and provide support to students with course related questions, assignments and practice problems
• Must be available on Tuesdays from 12:30 to 1:30p.m from January 27 to April 10, 2026
• Other related duties as assigned

Qualifications/Experience:

• Current Brandon University student
• Students majoring in Chemistry (3rd year or above) preferred
• Strong communication skills and ability to work one-on-one or with a group
• Ability to help students develop their problem-solving skills with enthusiasm
• Demonstrated patience and ability to relate to students with varying learning styles
• Ability to work independently with little or no supervision
• Previous experience as a lab assistant or group tutor in Chemistry Department is an asset
