Operation Management Officer

We are seeking a detail-oriented Operations Officer III to join our Contracts and Options Clearing Team. This is a critical back-office role focused on Trade and Cash Management. You will be responsible for the daily reconciliation of trade settlements and suspense accounts, ensuring corporate profitability and risk management through high-accuracy reporting and break resolution.

Position Type: Contract (12 months)

Work Model: Hybrid (Initial 5 days onsite for training; Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Reconciliation & Balancing: Perform daily reconciliation of CDN and US trade settlements and various suspense accounts.

Coordinate with internal teams and external street counterparties to communicate discrepancies and ensure timely corrections.

Maintain organized records for audit purposes in accordance with corporate retention policies.

Quality Control: Ensure all transactions follow due diligence and quality verification protocols.

Risk Mitigation: Escalate immediate concerns or unresolved problems to management to ensure compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

Education: Post-secondary degree or diploma, preferably in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

Experience: 2–3 years of professional experience in reconciliations, balancing accounts, or financial operations.

Technical Skills: * Advanced Excel proficiency (v-lookups, pivot tables, and the ability to run macros).

Preferred Assets:

Knowledge of equities trading, CDS, DTC, or Kyndryl systems.
