Base salary range for Plant Manager between 150 000 and 185 000 $CAD annually

At our facility in Mississauga you can develop your full potential, sustainably, by applying your expertise within the Packaging team as the Plant Manager:

• Oversee all aspects of the manufacturing plant while ensuring the safety of its employees and a safe environment free of all risks
• Ensure optimal execution of operations by achieving targets in terms of occupational health and safety, production capacity, standardization of operating costs and quality
• Lead compliance with Cascades’ business processes in the plant, in accordance with established business rules and best practices
• Develop and execute investment and asset maintenance plans, and meet return on investment targets
• Lead employee relations by fostering engagement, driving talent management initiatives, and providing coaching to support employee development and career growth
• Establish performance standards (availability, efficiency, OEE) in collaboration with the General Manager
• Collaborate in the implementation of optimization projects specific to your unit
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and ensure the sustainability of Lean Manufacturing best practices

Proven leadership with 10+ years of management experience in the manufacturing sector, Pulp and Paper industry an asset.
Customer-centric mindset , able to understand needs and craft solutions that elevate the customer experience.
Coaching ability to guide and develop team members toward their full potential.
Sound judgment for effective follow-up, solution implementation, and decision-making aligned with company priorities.
Resilience and conviction to stand firm in challenging situations while generating support and buy-in.
Strategic foresigh t to anticipate the impact of decisions on your unit and employees.
People-first approach to building a customer-focused culture.
Fluency in English , both written and spoken, for professional interactions.
Tech agility to work confidently with various digital tools; knowledge of SAP or other ERP systems is an asset.
