Legal Counsel - Labour Law

As part of a dynamic legal team, you'll prepare and present motions, conduct trials, and build strong communication lines with the claims department. Experience in varied specialties such as construction and transportation is valuable for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle independent insurance defense files from start to finish
- Prepare and conduct trials and mediations effectively
- Draft and review legal documents for motions and briefs
- Present legal educational seminars to the claims team
- Communicate productively with adjusters and stakeholders
Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (JD) or Bachelor of Laws (LLB) required
- Five years of insurance litigation experience needed
- Strong skills in drafting and dispute resolution
- Proficiency in relevant legal technologies and AI tools
- Member of the Alberta Law Society
