Job Description

You’ll help bring the Farm Boy’s food experience to life by combining your passion for fresh food with exceptional customer service. From preparing delicious meals to connecting with customers at the counter, you’ll play a key role in creating the welcoming, high-quality experience our shoppers know and love. Here are some of the other ways you’ll help us stand out:
Deliver warm, confident, and engaging customer service that reflects Farm Boy’s commitment to the best fresh shopping experience.
Welcome, greet, and assist customers using Farm Boy Service Standards while sharing your knowledge and enthusiasm for our products.
Prepare and cook fresh offerings for our hot and cold bar, grill station, and service cases, ensuring quality, presentation, and consistency.
Package, stock, rotate, and merchandise display counters and shelves, maintaining high product standards and accurate signage.
Maintain clean, safe, and organized work and storage areas through general housekeeping duties, including sweeping, mopping, and dishwashing.
Follow all corporate policies and procedures with particular focus on Health & Safety, Food Safety, HACCP compliance, and proper equipment use.
Complete designated opening and closing procedures and provide support to fellow Team Members as needed.
Support the team with additional duties on a periodic basis.
Qualifications

A genuine passion for delivering engaging and exceptional customer service.
Completion of a post-secondary program with an emphasis in culinary arts, plus up to one year of experience in a culinary or food-service environment (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).
The ability to work independently while taking pride in exceptional quality, attention to detail, and cleanliness standards.
A collaborative, team-oriented approach supported by strong communication and organizational skills.
Thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on setting that involves multiple deadlines, extended periods of standing, heavy lifting, and work that may be performed in cooler, freezer, and outdoor conditions.
Flexibility to work a dynamic schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Fluency in English; French language skills considered an asset.
