Our client is a well-established restaurant group based on Vancouver Island, known for operating multiple high-performing hospitality concepts across the region. With six operations under its portfolio, the group has built a reputation for quality, consistency, and strong community presence. As they continue to grow, they are seeking a Corporate Controller to provide leadership and financial oversight. The position is hybrid, offering flexibility while working closely with the leadership team at their head office.
10% annual bonus.
- 3 weeks vacation.
- Coverage for CPA licensing fees.
Oversee all day-to-day accounting and financial activities, excluding bookkeeping functions.
- Manage payroll processing and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Provide financial analysis and reporting to support decision-making by the President.
- Monitor cash flow, budgets, and forecasting across six operations.
- Ensure internal controls are in place and aligned with best practices.
- Collaborate with operations teams to support financial planning and performance.
- Lead audits and liaise with external accountants and auditors.
- Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Support strategic initiatives and expansion plans with financial insights and feasibility analysis.
CPA designation is required.
- Extensive experience in financial management, ideally within the hospitality or restaurant industry.
- Strong knowledge of payroll systems and compliance.
