Pinchin is seeking a Project Technologist to join our Environmental Due Diligence team in Ottawa. The Project Technologist, Environmental Due Diligence & Remediation (EDR), supports a wide range of environmental assessment and remediation projects related to property transactions, redevelopment, and regulatory compliance. This role works closely with Project Managers and senior technical staff to deliver Phase I Environmental Site Assessments, as well as provide support on Record of Site Condition (RSC) work, and remediation and monitoring programs across Ontario and Quebec.

Phase I Environmental Site Assessments

Conduct historical and regulatory research

Prepare, review, and edit technical reports

Complete field investigations related to the assessment of sites

Liaise with subcontractors

Support project scope development and implementation

Work in a both self-lead and team environments

Liaise with clients, financial institutions and other potentially involved stakeholders, including regulatory body representatives

Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science or Engineering and/or Diploma in Environmental Science

• Excellent writing, editing, technical and organizational skills along with the ability to problem solve
• Ability to thrive in a team environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Suite including Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook
• Valid driver’s license, insurance & personal vehicle is required (work related travel expenses will be compensated)
