As a Millwright with Dufferin Concrete, you'll keep our Burlington–Hamilton plants running safely, reliably and with minimal downtime. You’ll work with a regional maintenance team and support multiple sites through preventative and corrective maintenance, project work and hands‑on troubleshooting. This full‑time, day‑shift role is open to 3rd and 4th year apprentices, with preference given to candidates holding a 433A Millwright license. Your work helps us deliver the concrete results our customers rely on.
Maintain plant production equipment with preventative and corrective maintenance
Complete project work focused on reliability, process improvement and annual shutdowns
Follow technical diagrams, schematics and work procedures to perform safe, accurate repairs
Work safely every day, following OHSA regulations, company policies, PPE requirements and lockout procedures
Open to 3rd and 4th year Millwright apprentices; preference is for a Licensed 433A Industrial Millwright
Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills and ability to work with various metalworking techniques including welding, cutting and brazing
Knowledge of hoisting, rigging and pneumatic systems
Comfortable working indoors and outdoors, at heights and in confined spaces when required
