Our ANDRITZ Feed & Biofuel facility in Windsor, ON, seeks an Operations Manager to oversee all facets of the facility's operations. The Operations Manager must effectively manage facility operations with a keen focus on achieving predefined objectives. This includes optimizing production processes, ensuring a safe working environment, upholding quality standards, and fostering satisfaction among both internal team members and external stakeholders, while embodying ANDRITZ's core values and behaviors. By serving as a role model for the team, they not only drive operational excellence but also contribute to fostering a culture of integrity, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the facility.

Responsible for building a strong safety and environmental culture, prioritizing zero accidents and a sustainable footprint.
Manage reporting related to health and safety and environmental management.
Responsible for the Windsor location, with focus on Operational areas in collaboration with department leaders and shift supervisors as direct reports.
Create and implement approved short and long-term operations strategies to improve profitability and competitiveness.
Create an annual investment budget, including respective business cases, for continuous improvements to all aspects of the site.
Develop and implement measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and product quality.
Ensure efficient and effective operations, meeting production schedules and customer deadlines.
Plan and track implementation of improvement initiatives and corrective actions.
Develop and strengthen the workforce to secure long-term sustainable business operations.
Conduct regular meetings with employees to discuss priorities, safety, and performance.
Oversee building operation and maintenance, including repairs and space management.
Manage office and building facilities, including security and cleaning.
Manage procurement of consumables and general inventory.

Minimum of 5 years' leadership experience working in a manufacturing operations or general management role, preferably in the Feed & Biofuel industry.
Knowledge of profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow management, and general finance and budgeting.
Availability for domestic and international travel up to 25% of working time.
