It's about inviting people to craft memorable moments, one sip at a time, while pouring love back into our community. 1977 is seeking a dynamic and experienced Store Manager for a full-time, permanent position for our location at 278 Selby St, Nanaimo, BC V9R 2R3. Our ideal candidate will have flexible availability (Monday to Sunday).
We are a people first business, with a strong focus on our customer and member needs. Brings a minimum of two years of management experience in a related field (this is a must!)
Has the ability to analyze market data and financial information to identify trends, grow our business, and enhance merchandising strategies
Can effectively use computerized systems and applicable software
Has strong computer skills, Excel, Word, and other related sales tracking software required
Values safety, integrity, and teamwork, and is a role model for both colleagues and customers
Can successfully pass a criminal record check.
Has a current Serving It Right certificate (required in advance).
As a Store Manager, you will oversee all aspects of the operation of the liquor store, maintaining Peninsula Co-op's high standards for customer service, developing and achieving operating plans and budgets, designing and executing merchandising and marketing programs, taking care of people, including hiring and performance development, and working cooperatively with other departments, suppliers, etc.
