Estimator – ICI Construction (Design-Build Focus)
Salary: $80,000 – $95,000 + Bonus + Benefits
We are working with a growing ICI general contractor delivering projects ranging from $5M to $12M across commercial and institutional sectors. With a strong pipeline of design-build work, they are looking to bring on an Estimator who can operate with a high level of autonomy and support the full pre-construction process.
This role is best suited for someone coming from a smaller to mid-sized contractor who is comfortable wearing multiple hats and working with limited internal support.
Preparing cost estimates for ICI projects ranging from $5M to $12M
Supporting design-build pursuits by pricing off conceptual drawings and early-stage designs
Soliciting and analyzing subcontractor and supplier pricing
Assisting in the development and refinement of project budgets leading up to closing
Maintaining pricing databases and historical cost information
Experience working on projects in the $5M–$15M range (ideal)
- Exposure to design-build projects and conceptual estimating is highly preferred
- Comfortable working in a lean team environment without junior estimator support
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and project sequencing
- Someone not overly corporate or specialized — hands-on, adaptable, and practical
Experience with smaller to mid-sized GCs is a strong asset
