Inventory / Yard Worker

PERI is currently seeking a Yard Associate to join our team. The primary role of the Yard Associate is to perform various manual tasks to support operations within the PERI stockyard. Leveraging PERI's resources, the Yard Associate, along with the team, works towards maintaining a Safety-First Culture. Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment as needed.
Assist with conducting inventory counting to ensure accuracy.
Operate powered industrial equipment, including forklifts, safely and efficiently.
Assist with performing yard maintenance and clean-up tasks.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment by following safety and housekeeping processes and procedures.
Assist in coaching and mentoring new hires during the onboarding process.
Accurately and efficiently input data using handheld technology or similar devices to track and maintain accurate order counts and shipment data.
Demonstrates high emotional intelligence and cultivates strong relationships with internal teams.
Willingness to learn through on-the-job training as needed.

PERI Offers a competitive benefits package which includes medical, dental, vision, supplemental options, 401k retirement with company match, paid holidays, sick leave, and paid time off. The starting hourly wage for this role is $19.50 an hour.
