Safely operate fabrication and production machinery, including shearing, punching, bending, and batch-making equipment.

• Manual measuring and mixing of ingredients knowledge would be an asset. Conduct daily pre-start safety inspections to ensure all machinery is in peak operational condition.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance and verify that all safety guards and interlocks are functioning correctly.
• Interpret production blueprints and sketches using modern manufacturing software and digital drawing systems.
• Configure machine sequences and material feeds to manage the efficient flow of parts through production.
• Monitor equipment performance to proactively clear jams, prevent blockages, and ensure proper lubrication.
• Organize and tag completed orders with accuracy to streamline routing for the next production stage.
• Maintain a tidy, hazard-free workspace while assisting with various production tasks as needed.

High school diploma or equivalent certificate.

• 1+ years of experience operating production, fabrication, or batch-making machinery (shearing, punching, bending, etc.).
• Local to the region, residing within 50 km of Milton, ON.
• Technical skills in reading and interpreting basic manufacturing blueprints and layouts.
• Digital proficiency with computer applications and MS Office.
