Position Summary We are currently seeking an experienced Lead Elevator Mechanic to join our team in Sudbury . This role is responsible for leading the installation, maintenance, and servicing of elevators and lifts in residential and low-rise commercial buildings. The ideal candidate brings a strong mechanical background, a high level of professionalism, and a commitment to safety and customer satisfaction. Lead and execute the installation, maintenance, and service of elevators and lifts according to technical specifications and safety standards.
Ensure all work is performed with a focus on qualityno shortcutswith all units running flawlessly upon completion.
Perform thorough checks and inspections to ensure compliance with building codes and manufacturer guidelines.
Exhibit professional conduct at all timescourteous, respectful, and representing Savaria with integrity when dealing with customers, colleagues, and other trades.
Perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting, climbing, stooping, walking, and handling heavy materials.
Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues on-site and implement effective solutions.
Communicate effectively with internal teams to ensure smooth coordination and timely project completion.
Energetic, enthusiastic, and committed to high-quality workmanship.
must be certified as an Elevator Constructor and Mechanic.
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Lead Mechanic in elevator installation.
Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with hands-on experience in elevator systems.
Neat, clean appearance with a customer-focused attitude.
