Architecte Entreprise Applicatif (IT)

2. 10+years experience EA Documentation/Artefacts Development - this is specific to hands on architectural artefacts/documentation creation. This individual must have done this recently within a public sector environment.

Experience with developing/creating and delivering enterprise architecture deliverables (e.g. models) in accordance with GO-ITS 200PRS Ontario Public Service Enterprise Architecture governance requirements.

Enterprise Architect whose primary role is to work with project and development teams to provide enterprise and solution architecture guidance, gather requirements, and prepare and deliver enterprise architecture deliverables. The Enterprise Architect will collaborate closely with Threat Risk Analysts and Project Managers to support projects through architecture review boards (ARB) and compliance processes, with a strong emphasis on security and risk considerations.

Prior Ontario Public Service (OPS) experience is required.

Hybrid: once a week on site. Orillia office candidates will get preference.

Define, evaluate, and assess enterprise and solution architecture requirements for system environments and IT projects

Develop enterprise and technical architecture frameworks and strategies to meet business and application requirements

Advise and guide project teams on identifying, analyzing, and resolving architectural risks, including security, privacy, and compliance considerations

Work with Threat Risk Analysts to align enterprise architecture decisions with Threat and Risk Assessment outcomes

Review application, program, and infrastructure designs to ensure adherence to OPS I&IT directives, policies, and standards, recommending improvements where required

Analyze and evaluate alternative technology solutions to address business and technical challenges

Proven ability to identify architectural gaps, risks, and weaknesses and recommend remediation strategies

Strong understanding of OPS-aligned legislation, directives, policies, and standards related to information management, security, and privacy (e.g., privacy legislation)

Solid knowledge of modern security and contingency technologies (e.g., encryption, access controls, authentication, firewalls, SOAR, XDR, MDR) as they relate to enterprise architecture decisions

Experience evaluating alternative technology solutions and architectural approaches

Knowledge of risk management frameworks, industry best practices, and architecture governance

Expert understanding of networking concepts, routing, and network protocols
