Food Service Workers, Full Time and Part Time

The Mustard Seed
Employment Type: Part time
Schedule: Monday to Friday from 9:30 a.m. Reporting to: Food Services Manager
Receive verify orders and store all purchased food and kitchen items
Assist cook with preparing and serving of meals
Place food on the giveaway carts during mealtimes
Follow Environmental Health Services Guidelines regarding how food is prepared handled and stored
Oversee stored food rotation
Keeps all food inventories up to date
Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen (floors countertops walls)
A minimum of one (1) year experience working in the Food Service industry preferred
Valid certificate from the Alberta Health Services Food Safe course
Customer service experience
Ability to successfully prepare food in a commercial kitchen for a large number of children
Provide alternative meals including preparing dishes based on dietary restrictions/food allergies
Willingness to obtain the necessary training The Mustard Seed requires
Desire to serve in a Christian ministry
Eight-hour shifts scheduled by manager; As The Mustard Seed is a Christian ministry we require our employees to agree to respect and not detract from The Mustard Seeds Employment Values during their employment at The Mustard Seed.
Must have legal authorization to work in Canada on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer
