Architectural Design Technician

The firm is looking to hire an Intermediate Architectural Technologist. In this role, you will produce detailed construction documents using Revit, with an emphasis on technicality and accuracy. You will work closely with architects and senior technologists to translate design into technical cladding details, particularly for large scale and commercial buildings, assist in resolving technical issues and assist with the reviews of submittals and shop drawings relating to cladding elements.
You will have 5-8 years’ local experience in a variety of project typologies with a focus on cladding and building envelope detailing. You will be knowledgeable about concrete + wood construction, building envelope, building detailing and building systems, and OBC. The successful candidate will be proficient with Revit, Adobe Suite, Office suite and Bluebeam.
A competitive compensation package including a salary between $80k-$95k negotiable on experience, a discretionary bonus, 3 weeks vacation + 10 personal days, full health and dental benefits, tuition reimbursement and association due coverage.
