Junior IT Consultant (m/w/d)
Position: Junior Specialized IT Consultant
Duration: 1 Year assignment (contract)
Client Location: Toronto ( Onsite, 7.25 hours/day between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday)
This position is provisionally Onsite requiring 7.25 hours per calendar day between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM , Monday to Friday (excluding breaks). Akkodis is seeking a Junior Specialized IT Consultant to support service management, governance administration, stakeholder communications, and operational coordination for health service providers provisioned onto LTCCASB/CCIM‑hosted MIS and HRIS systems.
This role is suited for a detail‑oriented consultant with strong communication skills, public‑sector health experience, and the ability to manage service request workflows, documentation, and governance processes in a multi‑stakeholder environment.
Leading, coordinating, and monitoring ticket support activities for health service providers using LTCCASB/CCIM hosted MIS/HRIS systems.
Managing ongoing service requests (onboarding, mergers, configuration), coordinating resources, and communicating expectations to clients.
Stakeholder communication deliverables such as memos, notices, presentations, and briefing decks requiring senior‑level review.
2+ years of experience working within the Public Sector, preferably in healthcare.
- Knowledge of PHIPA and how privacy legislation applies to developing and maintaining healthcare systems containing Personal Health Information (PHI).
- Understanding of public sector processes for supporting IT services, governance, and compliance.
- Experience coordinating Service Desk operations, ticket tracking, and escalation workflows.
- MS Project, MS Teams, MS Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and collaboration tools.
Understanding of OTR processes and documentation practices in public‑sector digital environments.
