Our client is a leader in the industrial distribution industry. They are currently searching for a Branch Manager to join their Nanaimo, BC branch. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall activities and performance of day to day operations.
Receive sales orders, enter all information required for order picking into the system
Resolve customer issues/problems, provide technical product knowledge and guidance
Responsible for material and product control
Remain current with Company products and services and provide training and knowledge to staff
Strengthen relationships with key customers and supplier accounts
Related experience in managing an inside sales or customer service role, preferably with progressive responsibility for quotations and knowledge of costings
Background knowledge/experience in fire protection and/or plumbing and HVAC, electrical, and/or industrial pipe and fittings preferred
Mechanical aptitude and the ability to read blueprints is an asset
