Associate Portfolio Manager - Remote

This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

The Equity Associate Portfolio Manager role will be part of Mercers Portfolio Management team a key component of Mercers Investment Solutions business. The broadening of our client base to include more diversity in client segments sophistication and sustainability orientation has placed greater importance on innovation and thought leadership. This position will have a key role in supporting these efforts within the equity business. The successful candidate will take an active role in assisting the portfolio management team in relation to the range of Mercers investment solutions. The successful candidate will also work collaboratively liaising locally and globally with a range of our partner teams including clients servicing business development and portfolio management.

Participate as part of the Canadian portfolio management team to manage equity funds and achieve client outcomes.
Contribute to all global equity committees to represent Canada.
Minimum 5 years experience in investments with preference given to equity experience.
CFA Charterholder (or study of CFA charter under way).
Knowledge of Bloomberg Factset CRIMS an asset.
Relevant work experience in investment management/consulting and related fields.

Focus on the clients objectives when managing assets.
Interest in fund-of-fund approach and the ability to understand various investment managers and styles available to achieve investment results.
Bilingual (French/English) an asset (not required)

The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience skills training location certifications education and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case addition to the base salary this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
